Greg Furstner, SPHR, CCP - Founding Partner - Salezworks

Greg has more than 19 years of progressive experience as a compensation professional and human resource generalist. His expertise in the area of compensation includes strategy, design, and implementation of programs designed to attract, retain, and motivate the workforce and key executives of client companies. He has held management and executive level positions in human resources at Hallmark Cards Inc., JM Huber Corporation, Primedia, and Cummins Inc.

Prior to embarking into the consulting realm in March 2007, Greg served as Vice President of Human Resources at Freightquote.com. In addition to his compensation background, he has significant experience and expertise in the areas of international/expatriate human resource management and employee benefits. Greg has worked internationally in Scotland, Singapore, and Sweden.

Greg holds a BBA degree from George Washington University and a MS degree in Systems Management from The University of Southern California. He is certified by the Society of Human Resource Management as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and by World at Work as a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP). He is also certified in the Forte Interpersonal Communication System.

Prior to his Human Resource career, he served in The United States Army as an officer, helicopter pilot, and veteran of Operation Desert Storm. Outside of work, Greg is an active member of the American Cancer Society Chairman's Circle, is Chair-elect of the board for The American Diabetes Association - Kansas City and enjoys running marathons.
